GOING TO SHARE MY EMAILS AFTER TALKING TO IS COMPANY.

Question1. To you guys run dj edge and what is dj edge is this a program or a full system?

Answer: The DJ Edge system is a complete supplied solution comprising software, computer and dedicated internet servers for music downloads. The DJ Edgfe system is aimed at the dedicated DJ who has ongoing work and a need for superior performance with access to massive libraries (currently about 150,000 songs) via internet connection.

It has heaps of features that really stand out in a venue environment where many extra messaging and onscreen marketing features can be used. Approximate purchase cost is about $5,000 but the system is literally plug and play.

Question 2. What fees are involved for me such as ARIA , APRIA ?

Answer: I see that ARIA have conned you into paying their format shifting license as well – any DJ who buys their material from a proper source in the end user format they need does not need to have one of these – this license will take money off you forever. The only license a DJ “needs” is their PPCA license (I bet ARIA didn’t tell you about the AMCOS component you have to pay either – they usually “forget” to tell people about that)

It’s is far cheaper in the long run to simply buy your music again than to rip it from CDs, records or whatever or download it from non-legit sources – if you just get music from a legit source like us, you don’t need a format shifting license UNLESS you keep all of the material that you’ve acquired under the license for which they will continue to charge you a license fee every year, forever, or for however long you use it.
Did they get you for the $800 every year fee? You know, a years Top40 updates from us in digital mp3 files is only about $240 – if you also wanted to get some classic material to improve your library, say 500 of the greatest ever songs, that would be about another $550 – So, 500 of the best songs of all time and a years worth of updates of the latest material is only about $790 and you don’t need to pay any areia fee. As part of our license agreement and fees with ARIA, a chunky proportion of the money we collect from clients for music is forwarded directly to ARIA and AMCOS to cover music usage and compensate the artists and writers of the music.
AND you pay ARIA how much and then still have to buy the music as well? (appologies if I’m sounding a little sarcastic towards ARIA but lately I think their a little greedy, doing very little for the industry and nothing for DJs)

Question3 . is the digital downloads via your website?

Answer: We are not currently doing digital downloads from our website even though we do plan to. Youy may or may not be aware that the Sanity website was hacked about 2 years ago, they have more resources than us and were still hacked so we are taking our time until it is bullet-proof – safety for our clients and their information really is top priority.

One drawback for digital downloads is that for our video clients, a monthly update of 20 songs in video would be a download of between 2-3 gig per month, that could take a while.

Question 4. Payments are made via eg: PayPal credit card business account?

Answer: You can pay via credit or Visa debit cards, some of our clients do direct transfers and some still send cheques, we try to be flexible but most clients do use their cards for convenience.

EMAIL2

We do CDs ($19.80 each), VCDs ($19.80 each), DVDs ($19.80 each), as well as digital audio ($1.10 each) and digital video (from $1.705 each) files for our clients with computer based DJ systems. All of these rates include GST, just add postage to you. There are also some discounts that can apply to larger orders.
If you’ve had a look at the website then you’ll see that we do several monthly updates of various styles and formats that DJs can choose to get. Most just get the Top40 Hits update in audio or video, disc or digital to suit the way they’re working. There are other regular updates and we can do custom orders sometimes for clients. Others that are quite popular are Remixes and Clubtrax.

very good service SO CHECK THEM OUT SUPPORT THEM AND THEY WILL SUPPORT YOU I DID THE SUMS AND LET ME TELL YA ALL YOUR PPCA/APRIA FEES GO WAY DOWN

JBL Professional MSC1 Monitor System Controller Takes Charge At 129th AES (Video)

Sunday, April 3rd, 2011

For a unit that takes up so little room, the JBL Professional MSC1 sure covers a lot of bases in the studio. Firstly, it’s a monitor switcher and sub selector with big master volume knob. Second is’t a source selector, letting you match different material with the appropriate pair of monitors. Thridly it’s the hub for a digital romm acoustic correction system, and ships with a JBL measurement microphone and comprehensive software package. Best of all it works with pretty much any brand monitors you already happen to won.

We got a close-up look at the JBL MSC1 at the recent AES show in San Francisco, where JBL’s director of recording and broadcast marketing Peter Chaikin let us in on the controller’s ins and outs and most important features.
