Affiliate Marketing; Where to start?
Affiliate marketing can be a very rewarding and overwhelming business. but Most people do not know where or how to start.
What are the best affiliate programs?
How should I advertise?
How much money should I invest?
These are the questions most people ask after they have started affiliate marketing.
What are the best affiliate programs?
When you are just starting out it is better to sell digital products (e-books, downloadable programs, software, and etc.) basically anything that is not a physical product.
These products tend to be easier to sell do to the fact that the customer can have access to them instantly.
Two of the best affiliate programs that offer a wide a range of digital products is clickbank.com and cj.com. Both are free to join and easy to sign up.
How should I advertise?
Well of course pay per click is a good way to advertise. But there are free sources like forums, myspace, youtube and etc.
How much money should I invest?
Well Most affiliates start off with little money.
But It depends on how much you got. Of course if you had $1000 to invest in advertising you would be better shape than the person that only has $40.
Even with a small investment an affiliate could still make some money. Here is a tip.
When you are a starting out if you can, you need to put at least 1/2 of your profit back into your business. Because paid advertising is one the best ways to advertise.
